About Us

Frankston Vineyards mission is to build a reputation of quality and integrity from core values in all that we do.  We have two lines of business: Grape production and Management Consulting.

Frankston Vineyards was formed in 2001 when Robert and Cindy walked around our beautiful acreage in East Texas and wondered how to turn it into a business that could provide family support and bring business to the local area while allowing the family to get out of the city permanently.  The several inch thick native vines they had been hacking through for years suddenly revealed what nature had been saying all along - Grape plants like this area.  Robert's Chemistry and Cindy's business background were a perfect mix to launch this venture.  We are committed to creating well paying opportunities

Frankston Vineyards gets its name from the Post Office that serves the area.  Located south of Frankston off of Highway 155, we are specifically located off of Anderson County Road 4365 in Pert, Texas.  Don't Blink.

Robert Shelton is a former commercial / instructor pilot and USAF missile launch officer.  Roberts irritating love of Chemistry (weak acids!) and all things related have now been constructively focused into developing quality vines, grapes and wine products.  The absolute first time he has been able to apply his college subject matter to work and states he is in heaven.

Cindy Shelton is an IT professional who leads the consulting line of business.  Cindy has an MBA and loves hard work - which makes her an excellent second hand to Robert.  Reknown for transforming organizations using lean practices, she can also produce a wine vinegar that will knock your socks off.

Stephen Shelton, the hapless teenager caught up in this passion, provides additional hands-on support while also keeping the grass beaten down by countess runs up and down the rows in his four-wheeler.
